The Vlineos Luxury Bathroom Suite for Voglauer is a flagship, commercially successful collection merging a "pebble-inspired" organic design language with high-precision Alpine cabinetry. Completed during my tenure at Hans Winkler Design, my role as Lead 3D Designer involved managing the complex multi-material technical assembly and translating the core aesthetic into production-ready geometry across wood, stone, glass, and acrylic.
Design Evolution & Process
01 / Presentation Suite Render: A presentation-phase rendering showcasing a curated arrangement of furniture modules to communicate the cohesive ecosystem layout.
02 / Flagship Showroom Photograph: Official marketing photography from the Voglauer showroom displaying the manufactured, fully realized bathroom suite collection.
03 / Functional Utility Rendering: A conceptual rendering looking into the wall-mounted drawer module, detailing integrated internal charging ports and dual electrical sockets.
04 / Material Execution & Hardware: A close-up retail photograph of the physical wooden drawer, highlighting the premium stone-wrapped exterior veneer and functional charging hub
05 / Product Matrix Visualization: A comprehensive configuration sheet rendered to showcase the modular ecosystem, mapping out all combinations of basin scales, mirror cabinets, and underlying storage units.
06 / Basin Topology Overview (Rhino Arctic Mode): A top-down CAD layout comparing singular large and double small basin geometry variants across glass and acrylic material streams.
07 / Profile Fitting Variations: A technical side-profile alignment validating the cutout tolerances and edge logic for both flush-integrated and surface-mounted configurations.
08 / Production Geometry Validation (Rhino Quad-View): Workspace multi-view displaying wireframe NURBS continuity across orthographic views alongside a shaded perspective structure.
09 / Trade Show Exhibition Close-up: On-site documentation from a design fair highlighting the physical wall-mounted cabinetry and a semi-recessed washbasin with a elevated rim.
On the team at Hans Winkler Design, I served as the Lead 3D Designer for the Vlineos Luxury Bathroom Suite. I acted as the crucial "technical-aesthetic bridge," translating the core vision into production-ready digital assets across wood, stone, glass, and acrylic. My role required a precise split in execution: I established 90% of the final visual structure—encompassing all external aesthetic geometry, module variations, and presentation renders—while developing roughly 50% of the internal cabinetry layouts. Crucially, I took full technical ownership of the complex washbasin variations, personally engineering their geometric topology down to the exact millimeter.
Achieving this seamless multi-material assembly required tight, structured collaboration with Voglauer’s factory engineering team. Operating under the design authorship of Hans Winkler, I maintained a daily feedback loop with their technicians to validate cutout tolerances and drainage logic, bringing the sink variations to millimeter-level production readiness for both flush and surface-mounted setups. I delivered a comprehensive CAD package containing 90% of the finalized exterior forms and a 50% completed internal structural framework, working hand-in-hand with their engineers as they finalized the remaining 50% of internal cabinet construction and hardware integration.
The project resulted in a fully commercialized, production-ready luxury collection that successfully transitioned from complex organic concepts into serial manufacturing. The V-Lineos series was officially launched by Voglauer as a flagship suite, proving that high-end organic forms could be achieved in solid wood and stone without compromising structural integrity. While the collection has since completed its active front line retail lifecycle—a standard seasonal rotation in the luxury furniture market—its full commercialization and the existence of its dedicated product literature stand as definitive proof of its technical execution, market viability, and engineering success.
